When my mom needed home care, we were so lucky to find Theresa Gross. My mom required help in the morning to get out of bed, use the bathroom and start her day. We had a few caregivers; Theresa worked on weekends. Theresa was incredible — always on time, knowledgeable about medications and routines, communicative with our family. Most important, she was kind and caring with my mom. All the caregivers kept notes on how she was feeling on any given day. It was Theresa who, upon reading notes at the start of her shift, noticed how my mom’s condition had declined over the course of a few days, did her own assessment, and alerted us to what we, who were with her every day, hadn’t noticed, and get her the medical attention she needed.
